Inaugural Lavender Festival
I am excited to report that our inaugural lavender festival exceeded expectations. Since it was the first one, and since we live in the middle of nowhere, we weren’t sure how many people would come out. We are so lucky to be part of such a wonderful community. So many folks came out to see what this lavender thing was all about. Our venders did such an amazing job with all their products. There was something for everyone.
We also raised $300 for the Willcox Animal Shelter with the raffle of a beautiful basket by Bob @Yaqui Hideout and from the sale of Lavender Lemonade. We have learned a lot and are excited to try it again next year. Until then, cheers from Willcox!
