Line Cook

Schedule: Wednesday - Sunday

Starting Pay: Varies based on Experience

Position Overview: Olive's Vineyard Cafe and Farm Shop is seeking a passionate and skilled Line Cook to join our culinary team. As a Line Cook, you will work closely with our chefs to prepare and execute high-quality dishes using fresh, locally sourced ingredients. This is an exciting opportunity for a culinary professional to showcase their skills and contribute to creating exceptional dining experiences for our guests.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and cook menu items according to Olive's Vineyard Cafe and Farm Shop's recipes and standards

  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including workstations and storage areas

  • Ensure the proper handling and storage of food items to meet health and safety regulations

  • Work collaboratively with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth kitchen operations during busy service times

  • Assist with inventory management, including ordering ingredients and tracking supplies

  • Maintain a positive, professional attitude, and provide excellent service to the team and guests

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in a fast-paced kitchen environment preferred

  • Ability to work efficiently in a team and independently

  • Knowledge of food safety and kitchen sanitation

  • Ability to multi-task and remain organized during high-pressure situations

  • Strong communication skills and attention to detail

Dishwasher

Schedule: Saturday & Sunday

Starting Pay: Varies based on Experience

Position Overview:
Olive's Vineyard Cafe and Farm Shop is seeking a reliable and hardworking Dishwasher to join our back-of-house team. As a Dishwasher, you will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and efficiency of our kitchen. This position is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in supporting a high-functioning culinary operation. Your work will help ensure our guests enjoy an exceptional dining experience every time they visit.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Wash and sanitize dishes, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment according to health and safety standards

  • Maintain cleanliness of dishwashing area, including sinks, floors, and equipment

  • Assist with trash and recycling removal, ensuring proper sorting and disposal

  • Organize and restock clean dishes and equipment to designated areas

  • Support kitchen staff by helping maintain overall cleanliness and organization

  • Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines

  • Communicate effectively with chefs and kitchen team members to ensure smooth service

  • Assist with basic kitchen prep tasks as needed

Qualifications:

  • Previous dishwashing or kitchen experience preferred but not required

  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

  • Strong attention to cleanliness and detail

  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 lbs

  • Reliable, punctual, and able to work well as part of a team

  • Willingness to learn and support various back-of-house tasks 

Housekeeper

Schedule: Flexible, including weekends

You'll play a vital role in ensuring our guests enjoy a clean, comfortable, and welcoming environment. This position is ideal for someone who takes pride in their work and enjoys contributing to exceptional guest experiences in our unique vineyard setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Clean and maintain café dining areas, restrooms, and common spaces
  • Prepare and clean lodging accommodations between guest stays
  • Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and linens
  • Perform deep cleaning tasks on a rotating schedule
  • Ensure all areas meet health department and hospitality standards
  • Report maintenance needs and assist with light facility upkeep
  • Support special events and private functions as needed

Qualifications:

  • Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience preferred
  • Strong attention to detail and quality standards
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
  • Physical ability to lift, bend, and perform cleaning tasks
