A season to rest and relax.

As the cold winter air arrives at the vineyard, we pause and take a big relaxing breath. Although the growing season is finished, it is time to prepare for the new year. The vines and gardens may be dormant, but life is everywhere, from the bulbs gathering energy underground, to the lavender and grapes being propagated in the greenhouse. Don’t forget the musical chatter of the sandhill cranes flying overhead and hanging out in the neighboring fields. It is a magical time on the vineyard. Possibilities abound. It is the perfect time to plan a cozy getaway. Roast marshmallows over the fire pit, visit the local tasting rooms and relax under the dark skies.
